The Lockport Rampage (2-1) will be taking on the Cataract City Wolverines this weekend (Saturday, July 10th) at Exchange Field in Lockport. Lockport is looking to rebound after a tough loss last week, and the Wolverines are in search of their first victory of the season. Kickoff is set for 7pm.
Tomorrow (June 25th) the Lockport Rampage will be taking on the Monroe County Sting under the lights at Exchange Field. The Rampage are 2-0 in the NFA, and are coming off of a 47-0 victory last week. The Sting are currently at 3-0, so this game has important implications for the NFA standings. Last year, the Rampage were the only team to defeat the Sting in an early season win. The Rampage lost a close contest to the Sting in the playoffs, and the Sting went on to win the NFA championship. This game is shaping up to be a true battle between two of the best teams in the NFA. Come out and support the Rampage as they take on the Sting on their bid for the NFA championship. Kickoff is set for 7pm in Lockport (Exchange Field, Outwater Park).
The Lockport Rampage will be opening up their NFA season schedule against the Cataract City Wolverines tomorrow (June 18th). Kickoff is set for 4pm at Exchange Field in Outwater Park, Lockport. In the past two years in NFA league play, the Rampage have a combined 23-2 record and have gone deep into the playoffs in both years, falling just short of winning the NFA championship in both years. In their third year in the NFA, the Rampage are refocused with one goal in mind – to end this season with the NFA crown. Come out and support the Rampage as they make their bid for an NFA championship!
The Lockport Rampage will be holding an informational meeting on Sunday, January 31st at the Lockport Pub (1191 Lincoln Avenue, Lockport NY). The meeting will cover player expectations, league schedule/business, as well as contract signings. Everyone who plans to be a part of the organization should attend this meeting.
Indoor practices will begin on Saturday, February 4th from 9-10:30pm at the Kenan Center Arena (433 Locust Street, Lockport NY). Additional indoor practices will take place on February 18 (9-10:30) and March 3rd (8-9:30pm). The Rampage will be welcoming lots of new talent to the team and looks forward to an extremely productive preseason in preparation for the 2016 season!
The 2016 NFA season is approaching, and the Rampage will be started their offseason indoor practices in February at the Kenan Center. Last season the Rampage had a combined record of 10-2. Their only loss in the NFA came in the West Conference Championship. Stay tuned for more updates here as the 2016 season gets underway.
This weekend the Rampage will be taking on the Monroe County Sting in the NFA West Conference Championship. The winner of the contest will advance to the NFA Championship.
The Sting finished the season with a 9-1 record, with their only loss of the season coming at the hands of the Rampage in a close, 26-20 battle. They won their first round playoff game against the Five Lakes Hawks by a score of 45-12. Last season, the Sting won the SPF league championship. Monroe County has won multiple NFA championships in the past, and has also won several national semi-pro football championships.
The Rampage ended the regular season with a 10-0 NFA record (10-1 overall), and are coming off of a 33-0 win over the Southern Tier Diesel in the first round of the playoffs. Last year Lockport came up one game short of winning the NFA championship. This game is sure to be a hard fought battle between two great teams, with the winner claiming the title as the West Conference Champion and getting the opportunity to play for the NFA title.
