Roland Davis founded the Lockport Rampage in the winter of 2012, just prior to the 2013 western New York semi-pro football season. Prior to serving in an executive capacity, he played for five years on the Lockport Rage semi-pro football team as a running back and linebacker. He was also a standout player at Canisius High School. In addition to his playing experience, he has been an offensive coordinator for high school teams in Arizona, Baltimore, and Buffalo. Most recently, he is the defensive coordinator for the modified program in North Tonawanda. For the 2013 Rampage season, Mr. Davis was nominated for SPF coach of the year, and the Rampage were nominated for organization of the year. Mr. Davis’ goals as owner of the Rampage is to create a semi-pro football program that 1) has a winning tradition, 2) provides area athletes opportunities to continue to play football at a high level, and 3) provides an exciting local sports team for area fans to support. With these goals in mind, Mr. Davis is looking forward to the 2014 season and beyond.
